Why are things the way they are? |
| Because this is a Christian perspective, it is necessary that the foundation reasoning be biblical, which, today, is actually contrary to what many professing Christians believe. Many Christians, today, do not base their belief(s) on Scripture, but rather, on what they have been taught or inadvertently heard or read. Multitudes of fiction novels have been propagated throughout society and read as though they are based in biblical fact. In this, Many Christians do err. Even when the books openly declare that they are fiction, such as the "Left Behind" series, people fool themselves into thinking they represent truth. Fiction is fiction and we must not allow the thoughts and theories of men to be mingled with the plain truths of Scripture We have been warned that false teachcings would abound and that there would be a "falling away" before Christ returned to deliver His people unto Himself. The Bible teaches that there would also be scoffers in the last days, Few American citizens, including Christians, have any awareness of what is REALLY going on and know very little in regard to the "New World Order," of which the Bible clearly warns us. |
The Bible teaches contrary to what many professing Christians believe in regard to Bible prophecy and the multitude of heretical beliefs that run rampant make a mockery of Bible truth. Many Christians base there beliefs on what they hope will happen, rather than what the Bible teaches is going to transpire. They overlook plain warnings about coming hardships, because they would rather not face them or hear about them. Many pass off God's warnings with a simple, "It's not going to happen in our time" mentality. But the signs, of which Jesus spoke, are evidence that we are, indeed, living in the "last days" of Earth's history. But because people's dreams are subject to a mindset that desires to see their children grow up graduate, go to college and marry, or because they are not quite as successful as they had hoped to be and would like a little more time to accomplish certain goals they have established for themselves, they preclude that clear word of God that tells them not to get caught up in the cares of "this world." Hard times are coming, God tells us that we are to watch and pray and to be awake, alert and aware!
They For instance, we are told that,
"And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows." |
It is stated in Daniel 12:1, that,
"...there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book." |
And again, in Matthew 24:21, Jesus tells His People,
"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." |
But we are also promised that,
"...the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. 39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him." Psalms 37:38 - 40 |
We are admonished in 2Peter 3:3 - 6 "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 5 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:" |
